The first, featuring Becki Madsen and Kirk Mortenson, is the way it sounded in my head while writing it, and has a mildly contemporary sound. The second, with vocals by husband/wife duo Rob and Kara Brandt (who, by the way, met in opera class) is classical. This is the pair who sang this song during the closing session of the 2003 BYU Women's Conference. The last selection, featuring the "Amsterdam Staff Songsters" of the Salvation Army, is very upbeat, using piano, bass and drums along with the choir. Now, before you write to ask... I like them all. I appreciate the musicality of the performers, but I appreciate the love and faith expressed in the performances even more. Enjoy!
